1865 C. H. SPURGEON. Early Carte de Visite of a Young Spurgeon before His Full Fame as a Preacher Divine HealingBy 1865, Spurgeon was well known and pastoring one of the most significant Baptist Dissenting churches in England. Though his sermons were already being distributed in America as early as 1857, it really wasn't until the 1870's that he became the cultural force we think of him as today. This a rather young and fresh faced example, produced c. 1865 by Maull & Co, 62 Cheapside and 187A Piccadilly, London. Very good state.
